Here I am! Now what?

Good evening readers, and welcome to my blog. Not exactly sure how to present myself, so bear with me....

My name is Carolyn, I'm 24 and a student. I still live at home, working part-time and loving life full time.

I suppose you're wondering about the name?

It started on a site called collegefashion.net. I was reading an article about fashion blogger Keiko Lynn (who I love). After reading the article which can be found here, I looked at some of the comments, one of which read "I’m convinced that bloggers don’t wear pants". and fell in love with the idea of it. It's true that many of the bloggers I follow would rarely wear jeans or other forms of pants. It got me thinking, "why not?" Are jeans not fashionable enough to be on blogs, or is it because everyone has a pair that they can be overlooked?

It also got me thinking on the quality of blogs. Not so much the style, but the clothes that are shown on them. I follow many, and looking at them I think I would love their wardrobe or I wish I could afford stuff like that.

That's kind of why I'm here now. I'd like to not only show people, students like me and such, that you can still look good without anything considered too couture or from boutiques. Also, more pants!

You'll be seeing more of this!

Now before I start this journey, I do have a few things to clear up about this blog:
  • I know NOTHING about blogging! I read a lot of them, but I don't really know the first thing about presenting them. This includes taking photos, so I apologise for the terrible lighting, positions etc. I'm here to learn, so any pointers would be so helpful
  • This is all my own opinion, whether it be on my style or otherwise, I'm not here to offend, merely share my opinions and thoughts.
  • I am open to critique, positive or negative, just don't be too harsh
That's about it really, I'll try to post whenever I have time, either with photos of my outfits that day, items I love, or whatever really.

I look forward to hearing from you on this. Talk to you soon!
